Company History

Uniguest was started in 1986 as U.S. Hospitality with the core product being advertising-based, in-room Guest Directories. Throughout the 1990s the company began seeking diversification options that would expand its hospitality foot print.

In 2005 the company invested in the “Free-to-Guest” lobby PC industry. With over 10,000 PCs installed, Uniguest continued to expand and prosper. Operated initially as 2 separate entities, U. S. Hospitality formally acquired Uniguest on January 1, 2009, and the combined company was renamed Uniguest.

In 2010, Uniguest acquired certain “Pay-Per-Use” contracts from Showcase Technology, and in the process eliminated a competitor. Shortly thereafter, Uniguest was awarded the single source mandated contract for business centers in Hilton Hotels worldwide. Similarly, in August of 2011, Uniguest was awarded the single source mandated contract for in-room Guest Directories for all North American Hilton Hotels.

Today, Uniguest has 25,000+ informational touchpoints deployed at 15,000+ client locations, representing 50+ brands in 60+ countries.
